Why is your data collected?
We collect your personal data for a number of reasons, mainly to process your orders/purchases on TheFramedPhoto website. Your personal information will be used to process orders and deliver (through 3rd party delivery services) those orders to you. You can also sign up to our mailing list where we will collect your email address for the purpose of sending promotional (special offers, discounts, newsletter) material to those interested in receiving it.
We also collect non-personal data by way of cookies to help us determine how people use our website so we can improve our services, to you, the customer.
Facebook/Instagram Login
You can choose to sign in using Facebook/Instagram in order to retrieve your personal photos from your social media galleries which you add to our print products.
When signing in with Facebook/Instagram we collect the following data: Name, Email address and access to your photo galleries for the purpose of proving you with custom photo products.
You may remove access at any time by signing into your social media account and removing access to theframephoto.ie
What data is collected?
When ordering, we will require a minimum amount of information, including:
Name, address, phone number and email address. This information is stored on a secure server with SSL encryption.
We will collect and hold information on transactions for accounting purposes.
When signing up to our newsletter, we will require, at a minimum, your email address. Signing up to our newsletter is completely optional.
Will the data be shared with any third parties?
Yes, in order to fulfil orders, we will need to share your deliver information with third parties, including, but not limited to, post/courier companies who carry out or deliveries. On occasion, during busy times, we may use the services of a 3rd party printer/framer to fulfil orders. Your information will be shared for the sole purpose of fulfilling orders and is not stored on our 3rd party servers once an order is fulfilled.
What about payment details, like credit card details?
We never see your credit or debit card details. Credit and Debit cards are processed using out 3rd party payment processor, Stripe, who use high grade encryption during the processing of your payment.
How long do we keep records?
In accordance with Irish law, we will keep records for 6 years. We will periodically backup up our records to offline secure locations in either electronic form or paper form.
Can I have my personal details removed from your system?
If you have never purchased anything from us, then yes, we can delete any and all your personal details at your request. If you have purchased from us, in accordance with Irish law, we will keep a copy of any invoices, receipts etc, some of which will have your details on them. All other information, eg. personal information in your TheFramedPhoto account can be deleted at your request, but records of past purchases will be kept securely on file, in electronic or hard copy format.
Can I unsubscribe from the newsletter/mailing list?
Of course, once unsubscribed, your email address will be deleted from the mailing list. To unsubscribe, you can either click the “unsubscribe” link at the bottom of all newsletter emails or, contact us and we can take you off the mailing list(s).
